INSURANCEDAILY.NET, The insurance sector will remain closed on 1 and 4 August (Sunday and Wednesday) in the current lockdown.
Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) has made the decision today 29 July.
In this regard, a letter has been sent to the insurance companies.
It is said in the letter, considering the current situation of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) infection Bangladesh Bank has declared closing the Bank on the day of 1st and 4th August 2021.
To make similarity with banking activities, all the offices of the insurance sector to remain closed on 1st and 4th August 2021
Otherwise, all the directions of circular no. 53.03.0000.009.18.009.21.130, dated 19 July 2021 will remain unchanged.
