New board at Homeland Life, Hannan Mia the chairman

INSURANCEDAILY.NET, Finally, the dispute over the board of Homeland Life Insurance ended with the formation of a new board of directors.

Md. Hunnan Mia, the former chairman of the Tourism Corporation, was elected the chairman of the board of 19 members.

The new board will perform the duty till 31 December 2023. This information is known from related sources.

This decision has taken conciliation meeting of both parties held at the office of the Insurance Development & Regulatory Authority on last 6 November.

Md. Dalil Uddin, a member of the authority, presided over the meeting that was held with the mediation of IDRA.

A memorandum of understanding with 7 conditions was signed between the two parties during the meeting.
