This Act may be called the Insurance Corporations Act, 2019. It shall come into force at once.

In order to fulfill the purpose of this Act, Jibon Bima Corporation and Shadharan Bima Corporation which are established under the Insurance Corporations Act, 1973 (Act No. VI of 1973) shall remain in force as if the two corporations were established under this Act.
