INSURANCEDAILY.NET, At the end of the holy Eid-ul-Adha holiday, offices of the life and non-life insurance company will be opened to a limited scale from tomorrow Sunday.
The insurance companies will have to follow a number of guidelines to run their offices in the duration of strict lockdown to prevent the transmission of coronavirus.
On last 19 July, Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) have issued these necessary guidelines in a circular to ensure the services of insurance companies.
According to the circular, the guidelines to be followed by the insurance companies from July 23 to August 5 are-
From 25 July to 5 August (excluding weekly holidays), offices of the insurance company will remain open from 10 am to 3 pm with limited manpower and ensuring strict hygiene.
Survey activities can be conducted with a limited number of manpower and strict hygiene rules if an urgent survey is required for quick settlement of insurance claims in the event of an accident.
Respective Insurance companies or Survey establishments will have to take necessary steps to manage personal transport for their officers and staff with the following hygiene.
In all cases, officials and staff of the Insurers or the Survey companies will have to bear the identity card issued by their companies.
In the official activities, the virtual system must be given priority to continue the insurance services.
In addition, the restrictions imposed by the Cabinet Division on July 13 must be properly complied with.
