INSURANCEDAILY.NET, Green Delta Insurance Company Limited has settled a claim worth 5 crores 98 lac 67 thousand 747 Taka of the Evergreen Factory (BD) Limited earlier today (27 July) at the company’s Head Office. The Insurance Company said this information in a press release.

Green Delta Insurance’s Head of Branches & Distribution- Kabir Ahmed Chowdhury, and Financial Controller- Syed Aliul Ahbab, handed over the claim cheque to Dewan Zakir Hussain- Executive Director of Evergreen Factory (BD) Limited.

The claim was triggered when Evergreen Factory (BD) Limited’s factory suffered damage due to a riot and strike of factory workers on 27 June 2020. After proper assessment of the riot & strike incident and damage to the client’s property, Green Delta Insurance has decided to pay BDT 5,98,67,747 to Evergreen Factory (BD) Limited for the aforementioned claim.

In addition, Md. Moniruzzaman Khan- Head of Digital Business & Brand Communication of Green Delta Insurance Company, Md. Habibul Hasan- Financial Controller of Evergreen Factory (BD) Limited, and other high officials both organizations were also present at the claim settlement ceremony.
