Green Delta launched Covid Insurance

Green Delta Insurance Company Limited (GDIC) has launched a new insurance product for covering Covid-19 Virus. The name of the product is ‘Covid Insurance’. It has four kinds of benefits with a sum insured up to BDT 2,50,000.

According to the web information of the company, there are three options available in this insurance policy, namely ECO, GOLD, and DIAMOND. There is a 15 Days waiting Period for Infectious Disease in this product.

In the case of accidental death and death due to infectious disease, benefits are BTD50,000 to 2,50,000. Benefits in case of accidental emergency medical expenses /day up to 15 days are BDT1,250 to 6250.

On the other hand benefits for the family relief for Covid-19 (one-off) are BDT1,250 to 6250. Hospital cash allowance per day due to infectious disease for up to 15 days is BDT1,000 to 2,000.
